Explore the Museum and Complete Sketch Challenges
You've never had an art class like this!
In this high-energy half-day camp, youth will explore the Illinois State Museum and complete sketching challenges inspired by our new exhibit, Growing Up X. Participants will draw with one line like an Etch a Sketch, practice speed drawing using a polaroid picture frame, and reference classic video games to design a pixel cartoon. Campers will also collaborate on a painted project they will display in our Play Museum.
We invite youth, ages 8 to 14, to join us for this half-day camp on March 23, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Everyone will head home with sketch pads full of new ways to look at and think about art.
The fee is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
Advanced registration is required by Monday, March 13.
