Join us for the return of Illinois State Museum Bus Trips!
Explore with us September 20-22 on our adventure to New Harmony, Indiana!
Our new travel opportunity brings us greater awareness of the good earth where we live and the people who sought freedom to thrive, worship and build community. Plus, it harkens us to the earliest days of the Illinois State Museum story!
Join members of our Museum Society as we visit two communities to witness a collage of heritage buildings made new and meet people who tell tales of the ideals and realities of founding families. We'll visit Lyles Station, one of the earliest African-American communities in our country, and New Harmony, a town founded as a utopia.
